A STORY OF A LOVE is an unofficial fanzine dedicated to celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Cloud and Aerith’s love story that has inspired us since 1997.This project honors the tenderness, devotion, and cherished moments that defined their bond—one that continues to bloom unwaveringly throughout the years.

Q. What is a fanzine?
A fanzine (fan magazine) is a non-official publication produced by fans of a particular fandom, or in our case, a ship for the enjoyment of those who share the same interest. It can either have only artworks, or be a blend of art and written works made by the contributors. A STORY OF A LOVE fanzine will be the latter.Q. What is the theme?
The theme of the A STORY OF A LOVE fanzine is centered around the tenderness, devotion, and cherished moments that defined the bond between Cloud and Aerith—one that continues to bloom unwaveringly throughout the years.Q. Will NSFW be allowed?
The project is SFW. No NSFW content will be allowed.Q. Is this fanzine for-profit or for-charity?
Both. Post-production funds will be divided between Contributors and our chosen charity.Q. What is the size of this zine?
The zine will be 6 x 9 inches.Q. Are other characters or ships allowed in the zine?
As the project is focused on Cloud and Aerith, other ships will not be allowed in the zine. Other characters and depictions of platonic relationships with said characters may be included as long as the focus will be on Cloud and Aerith, pending pitch approval by the Moderator Team.Q. What will Contributors receive as compensation?
Post-production proceeds will be divided between Contributors and donations to our chosen charity. The exact amount will be discussed by the Mod Team with Contributors after Leftover Sales. All Contributors are also guaranteed to receive a physical zine book, in addition to the digital bundle.Q. Will Contributors be allowed to post/sell their pieces after the zine is completed?
Yes! The Contributors will retain all the rights to their respective creative works to do as they wish once the project is done. Contributors may post or sell their works after, and only after, the zine project is announced as completed. Doing otherwise while the zine is still ongoing will result in your piece being removed from the project altogether.Q. How many artists and writers are you looking for?
The zine is aiming to have between 20-25 Page Artists, 5-7 Merch Artists, 5-7 Spot Illustrators, and 10-15 writers overall.Q. Do you have a schedule?

Yes! The zine will offer both digital and physical merchandise. Please stay tuned for our merch previews before Preorders go live.Q. How will the zine be distributed?
The digital orders will be distributed through email, while the physical orders will be shipped through couriers. Distribution of both the digital and the physical orders will be done simultaneously.Q. How much will the zine cost?
The zine will offer varied bundles with their corresponding prices. More details will be announced once Preorders go live.Q. Will there be a giveaway?
Yes! The exact details and mechanics for the giveaway will be announced once Preorders go live.Q. Will I be able to buy a copy of the zine even after the preorders finish?
Yes, but only a limited quantity may be available. You will get another chance to purchase a copy once we open our Leftover Store after all orders have been shipped out and our inventory has been accounted for.Q. When will the orders ship out?
